Auto Detailing

Complete & Interior Detailing

  • Allow your carpets to dry before re-installing your floormats.
  • You may remove any protective plastic coverings on your seats and floors after the fabric is dry.

Inner-Guard® PLUS

  • Please allow your carpets to dry before re-installing your floormats.
  • You may remove any protective plastic coverings on your seats and floors after the fabric is dry.
  • The smell you are experiencing from the Fabric Protector will go away in the next few days.
  • If you happen to spill something, immediately clean it up as best as possible to avoid permanent staining.

Window Tint

  • DO NOT roll your windows down for three days following your appointment.
  • Your new window film needs time for the adhesive to cure.  Your window tint may appear to have a hazy appearance or moisture bubbles for up to ten days after installation. These conditions will disappear once the moisture used to apply your tint dries up completely.
  • Please do not clean inside your windows for 10 days.
  • When you clean the interior surface of your windows, be “gentle”.  Use cleaning solutions that do not contain ammonia or abrasives.  Apply with a spray bottle and wipe gently with a clean microfiber cloth and/or soft paper towel.  Never use a sponge, it may carry grit.

Rust Protection & Undercoating

Rust Protection:

  • We have washed your vehicle for you, avoid automatic car washes until the undercoating material is completely dry. This could take up to 7 days.
  • The smell you are experiencing from the Rust Protection products will go away in the next few days.
  • It is recommended to always keep the under carriage of your vehicle clean.
  • Keep an eye on your mail each year around your anniversary date for your reminder card which will invite you in for an annual re-spray. Whether you have a warranty or not, it is best for your vehicle to come back for an annual re-spray.
  • If you received a warranty, you must have the inspection performed on your vehicle every year, +/- 60 days of your anniversary date, to maintain your warranty.

Undercoating:

  • Your vehicle’s undercoating will “skin over” in just a few hours and become dry to the touch in about 24 hours. You should avoid putting your vehicle in a garage – especially if your garage is attached to your home – for the first 1 to 2 nights as the solvents evaporate from the drying coating; this can create an unpleasant odor.
  • The smell you are experiencing from the Undercoating products will go away in the next few days.
  • We have washed your vehicle for you so try to avoid automatic car washes until the undercoating material is completely dry. This could take up to 7 days.
  • Keep an eye on your mail each year around your anniversary date for your reminder card which will invite you in for an annual renewal.

Z-Gloss® Ceramic Paint Coating

  • Avoid getting your vehicle wet for at least the first 24 hours after picking up your vehicle. It is typical for us to ask you to leave your vehicle with us over night, especially if it is raining or snowing.
  • Hand wash your vehicle on a regular basis to avoid excessive contamination buildup. Avoid washing in direct sunlight to avoid streaking and water spotting. Wash from the top down leaving the dirtiest sections for last to avoid cross contamination. Use separate soap and sponge / wash mitt for wheels.
  • Always dry completely. Tap water contains minerals that may leave water spots. Use quality microfiber towels for the best results. Never use aggressive products to polish the coating to remove surface contaminates.
  • Never use excessive force to remove spots. Bird droppings, tar, tree sap, etc., should be removed as soon as possible to avoid temporary staining or hardening on the coating. Any staining left behind from the bird droppings will break down over a few days without affecting the coating. For assistance with contamination removal or advice on maintenance for your vehicle contact your local Ziebart.
