Ziebart International Corporation was founded in 1959 based on an innovative process developed by Kurt Ziebart to prevent automobiles from rusting. He opened his first location in Detroit. The company quickly began expanding into neighboring Midwest cities. In 1963, the first international location was opened in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Since that time, Ziebart has grown into a worldwide network of approximately 400 locations in 29 countries.
