Leased Cars Need Lovin’ Too

May 06, 2015

When we think long-term commitment, we think to have and to hold forever and ever. In the automotive world, long-term commitment usually means you have purchased a vehicle to own and now enjoy the distinguished status of car ownership. Believe it or not, sometimes we can draw parallels from the real world into the automotive world. For instance, what if you're not the long-term relationship type of person? What if you'd rather see other people (thank you college years) and really get to know what you like? That's where the leasing aspect of the car world comes into play.

There is no better feeling than sitting behind the wheel of a new car or truck, testing that new engine and showing off your shiny interior and exterior. Leased vehicles allow us to enjoy this feeling more often and because of that, we tend to treat them a little differently. Let's be honest, we push the envelope a little more when we drive a leased vehicle compared to one we own. However, just because it's leased doesn't mean we should omit the TLC we would show any other car or truck. Remember, leased cars need lovin' too.

A Chip off the Old Block
You're driving that new leased car down the highway and testing exactly how much 'umph' that car dealer was going on about. As you go to pass that semi chugging along at 55 M.P.H in the right lane, a stone kicks up and suddenly you hear that dreaded 'TING' sound emanating loudly from your windshield. You are now stuck with that eyesore of a chip on your windshield and better act fast before one solid bump leads to a Charlotte's Web type scenario. Have no fear, Ziebart® is here! Stop in at your local Ziebart store and one of our professionals will have that windshield repaired as quickly as possible. Trust the team with over 50 years of experience and don't be on the hook to have the whole windshield replaced.

It's all in the Details
Okay, so you've had a rough day and, earlier, coffee somehow managed to spill all over the floor of your leased car. On top of that, you had to pick the kids up from whatever sport they're obsessed with currently and they showed little enthusiasm in making sure they were clean before entering your car. Oh, and the dog is infatuated with your backseat and insists on rolling around like a pig in a sty. You've tried the spray solutions and a whole lot of elbow grease, but nothing seems to get those stains out. That's where we come into play. Our interior detailing process will have your leased car glimmering like a dress on prom night. We pay meticulous attention to even the smallest of details using our specialty tools and chemicals not found in your garage or even at your local car wash.

Prevention is Better Than Cure
What's better than having those unfortunate coffee stains, mud tracks or animal messes that have ruined your interior cleaned up and never seen again? Never having those messes ruin your interior in the first place! Ziebart Inner-Guard® PLUS will not only seal your fabric or leather interior and keep it safe from stains, but it will also help retain that sparkling clean look. Coupled with routine maintenance, our warranty will guarantee your interior is protected for the duration of your lease agreement. If prevention is how you like to handle things, you're probably going to want Ziebart Germ Defender® in your car as well. Getting rid of those germs and bacteria can help keep you and your family healthy.

Returning a car that has been detailed can reduce those return costs as well. If the look on the car dealer's face isn't enticing enough, having your leased car professionally detailed could even pay for itself! Locate a Ziebart store near you and have an expert give your vehicle a detailed cleaning that will leave you with a smile on your face and maybe even a little more green in your pocket.
