SPOKANE, WA  –  Ziebart International Corp., the global leader in automotive detailingfilms and protection services, salutes franchise owner Brian O’Shaughnessey on the September 19 Grand Opening of his downtown Spokane Ziebart franchise.

“We are very excited about this Ziebart store, our location and the products and services we can offer our customers to keep their vehicles looking new – inside and out,” said O’Shaughnessey. “As the first Ziebart in the area, there is not a lot of name recognition so we have the challenge of introducing this great international brand to people in this area,” said the former Michigander, who has lived in the Spokane area for more than a decade.

“In the Midwest and East Coast the Ziebart name and reputation for excellent products and services is well known,” said O’Shaughnessey. “We are excited about bringing these great products to the West Coast and delivering excellent customer service.”  He said the company is booking clients since its soft opening in June about a week in advance. “A lot of people don’t fully know what we can do to help them protect their vehicles, so the level of business already is very encouraging.”

Brian and his wife, Karen, are co-owners of the Ziebart store located on West Riverside in the downtown area and adjacent to the Gonzaga University, where Karen is employed full-time.

“We have a building that has been totally renovated and designed to perform Professional Detailing, Rust Protection/Undercoating, Spray-On Bed-Liner, Z-Shield® Paint Protection Film and other services,” said O’Shaughnessey.  He said the 5,000 square-foot facility has the capacity to handle eight cars indoors at once for various product applications.

“This building, with a glass façade facing the street, is essentially brand new and we are very proud of our EnergyStar rating and energy efficiency with a new roof, insulation, overhead doors and a host of features that will demonstrate that we are here for the long haul to help our customers protect and preserve their cars,” O’Shaughnessey said.

“A lot of people are coming to us to detail and professionally clean their cars and SUV’s and are learning about Ziebart. We’re educating them on the great history of innovation in Ziebart products to protect and preserve vehicles. We have our own little university here educating people on Diamond Gloss® Paint Protection, Z-Shield® Paint Protection Film, Germ Defender® powered by Bioshield 75® and the many other products and services we can offer to them and their families.”

“We were looking at buying product from Ziebart and the discussions turned to purchasing a franchise and we decided after thoroughly researching Ziebart that this was the way to go,” said O’Shaughnessey. “The stars were in alignment on this one, the building became available and it all came together.”

“We are really excited to be in this beautiful building on a main street in downtown Spokane,” said O’Shaughnessey. “I am confident that once people fully understand our scope of services and products we will be well on our way to being one of the busiest Ziebart stores in the country.
